Not sure if this is geo coded but it does look puzzling from a PL AR. No flag for offside, a casual walk for goal signal, and then a fist pump?

Yeah it’s bad. I can only think the AR got put off by the odd pass or the other covering defender. The fist pump is very unfortunate.

He was in-line with Aubameyang instead of the Everton defender, poor positioning.

Poor position or not thats not a difficult one to spot.

One defender in Kenny makes it an easy one that he somehow gets wrong.

No excuse for that at all.

Yeah I've seen it. AR needs to spend a good few weeks watching games instead of officiating them after that.

A referee by themselves could have spotted that. Incredibly poor decision - and as for the walking for the goal signal?

Not only that, but the old 'arm up the field' for a goal signal? Come on! 1st year referees know better than that!
The fist pump is just inexplicable and at that point, especially given the decision, the AR is no longer 'being seen to be fair'.

It's a blurry bit of footage so I'm hoping he's just sort of flexing his arm, maybe having a cramp or something, rather than a celebratory fist pump.
