The Ref Stop

Anyone use the RefSix App?

Thinking of getting either a Garmin Fenix or an Apple Watch. The one thing that draws me to the Apple Watch is the RefSix app. Has anyone used it and if so is it any good?

The Ref Stop
I just saw Dutch Ref's review and checked out the website and manual.
I think it looks really great TBH.

I have a series 1 Apple Watch so unless I have my phone on me I can’t get the heat map. Everything else works well on the app though.

Can you customize the player numbers? Also, how does it handle subs who reenter the match from the subs bench—can you make them reactive after you’ve subbed them off?

2nd question, are you talking about rolling subs? I haven’t tested it, don’t have my watch to hand either to test it but I’ll try to in a bit

Rolling subs work well on the app.

I had it on a Sony watch initially, but had major issues with the battery life. Would get 2-3 days of normal use, but I’d barely get through 90 mins using REFSIX. Although, I couldn’t say whether this was an issue with the app, or an issue with the watch.

I have an Apple Watch now, and I might start giving it a run out, only issue is that my local men’s league don’t require a match sheet, so I’d only be able to use it for women’s matches.

I too was worried about battery life of my series1 Apple Watch. A full charge in the morning, 90% by game time, down to 70% at full time. Happy days!
