I loved the Mexico 86 album, I think it was my first. Pique is my favourite Mascot of all time. I've no idea what the France 16 mascots are.

argentina '78 was my first... had to lick each sticker individually to put them in the album

might have been '86 you were thinking of with Ardiles, Hoddle, Waddle ?
and just going through that i've realised my Argentina '78 album wasn't the panini one, but the red FKS one... my first panini was Europa '80.
My dad still lives in the house i grew up in and you can still see the remnants of some of these where i used to stick swapsies on my bedroom door. Mum hated that

hahaha crikey no ... there was a half hearted attempt by myself at some point to get them off, probably about 25 years ago, but i think he secretly had a soft spot for Brian Talbot and Paul Mariner
