A cheat by any other name

During a hard fought lower league game, green were leading by a couple of goals but blue are coming back strong in the second half and clawing their way back into it. green conceded a corner. Green player turns and loudly shouts "how much are they fudging paying you then ref?" It wasnt fudging he said of course

As I call him over, he gives more attitude. He gets a red for OFFINABUS - call me, or imply I am a cheat and off you go.

Was curious to know what others think about this?

In 3 seasons this is the second red handed out for such a statement. The first called me a cheating c@nt, so a bit different.

I agree with that, anything that hints or directly calls you a cheat gets a red card any day of the week IMO.

Good strong decision. But make sure you include not only the original offence but also whatever dissent he gave you while you called him over. Then there will definitely be no way out.
