how long did it take to get your 1st game after the final exam

I did one the day after then the next 5 within the next 12 days, think I was lucky as it was pre-season, lots of friendlies.

Took me ages as I qualified in February so had to wait for pre-season before getting any games.

Blimey I'd have found that nerve racking waiting so long to take charge. Had my first game a week after passing the exam. Didn't take me long to get the six in.

It took 3 months for me! Although the season had just finished and Something about not being able to be officially appointed to a game until I was booked on a safeguarding children course.

passed the test some 16 years ago did my first official game the sunday after and yeh he turned up mr assessor what a nice chap appreciated all he said to me on my first proper match

3 days. Its worth speaking to leagues before your course completion as most will create you a profile on their league and pencil you in for games!
