BC, Before City had any brass!!
I was 23 in 2007 and this was one of the best City teams is seen.
I fell out with footy when two teams started buying trophies. There are other reasons for my spat with the game, namely cheating and referees selling their soul by tolerating abuse. Grass Roots is OK, albeit declining rapidly in terms of participation and funding
It was a great day out beating sheff united at the lane for sure!

The problem is that the only way to compete with the traditional big clubs is to spend ridiculous amounts of money. Don't do it and you won't compete. City are lambasted for what they spend but the market was created by the traditional big clubs during the PL era. They were the ones inflating wages and transfer fees.
Many many European leagues pay nothing like what PL are paying in wages on the whole, its a cancer in football and many many clubs will fail when the money tree stops shaking!!
Yep, boxing day if I recall correctly! I did 4 away League games that year, sheff utd, Newcastle, Boro and Fulham. Won all 4, about the only 4 we won all season!
Less said about my 2 cup games at chesterfield and Blackburn the better!
