    Half Time Whistle

I blow thrice for both, but quicker for half time and slower for full time

    2 soft yellows?

How can you say truly honestly 100% that it was dissent, we are only assuming that he has kicked the ball away in response to a decision I made 2 minutes earlier, hardly the easiest sell is it?

    2 soft yellows?

YHTBT might be best here, it’s difficult to explain if I’m honest Sarcastic doesn’t have to be dissent, might have got my choice of words wrong but I still standby it being sarcastic Having thought about it, it could be dissent yes, but would be much more difficult to sell as it is an action...

    2 soft yellows?

By a sarcastic kick I meant how it was kicked so far away, whilst celebrating… understand how it could mean a number of things from the outside point of view

    2 soft yellows?

The player seemed a bit surprised but then he was surprised that he got cautioned for scuffing up the penalty spot. No complaints from any one on the side which was good considering they weren’t happy with the earlier OFFINABUS

    2 soft yellows?

You can’t clearly have a general dissent if it’s by action, minutes after the last contentious decision that upset the player. If he spoke and said something verbally that’s understandable, but by doing something, it can be difficult to sell a dissent for a decision that happened to minutes ago...

    2 soft yellows?

But the difference is kicking the ball away is an action, not a direct verbal comment or gesture

    2 soft yellows?

What caution code would you file this under?

    2 soft yellows?

I could be dissent but I want to make it clear, the final punishment and fine was not running through my head at that point as some have suggested, I wasn’t out there to try to get him fined/banned for as long as possible, didn’t even think about it as I showed him the second caution

    2 soft yellows?

That’s a fair point, maybe you just had to be there to feel the context/atmosphere of what was occurring

    2 soft yellows?

I don’t think I ever wrote he deserved a red, I just said he had it coming. You are taking what I’m saying completely out of context

    2 soft yellows?

Are you telling me you have never influenced your decisions based on the way someone acts during the game, even sub-consciously

    2 soft yellows?

Delaying the restart is the easiest to sell as far as I’m concerned
  14. S

    2 soft yellows?

ok potentially, but id be able to defend either decision

    2 soft yellows?

I can understand what you are saying here, but I honestly felt I would lose control the moment I showed him another yellow card without following the red, due to the situation of the game which is difficult to explain

    2 soft yellows?

So technically speaking he had committed a cautionable offence that could be interpreted as C2 or C4, I had to choose one, and I chose c4.

    agreed

    Interesting incident

So what happens when all the players jog out of the changing rooms, but one player is left and the adult is present. What you are saying is utter nonsense. A dbs checked adult is allowed alone with a child. What happens at schools for example etc.

    2 soft yellows?

But why would he be showing dissent after his team scoring? This followed a sending off for OFFINABUS, and further misconduct from coaches so surely you can see why I wanted to avoid sinbinning, especially with 5 mins left, the harsher punishment was necessary

    Interesting incident

There were no changing rooms, I was just asking him to take him away from the pitch (this was a public park), even so, surely a DBS check has some waivering for the child protection act. I know plenty of teams that have one coach, so surely no team should ever be allowed in the changing rooms...
