Hi guys,
In about a month I will be living in 2 different places in different counties. If I did a ref course and qualified could I ref in both counties as long as I told them in advance when I'd be in which one? If so would I just register with both FAs?
Thanks!
I mean long term if I'm good enough I'd like to keep going up the ladder and would eventually end up doing OA but I'm wondering what would be best to start with
Thanks. I think after a few times I would have more confidence etc. but at the start I'd be questioning myself over every decision, even if it was something obvious. I guess it comes with time
Thanks for the help guys. I thought it would be easier to do youth but have seen a few complaining about parents etc. being worse than actual players. What age do you think would be good roughly?
Hi guys.
I'm still considering if I should give refereeing a go. I'm 18 years old and think it'd be something fun to do but it seems a lot of hassle. One of the main questions I'm having is whether I should do youth football or not. I've heard a few people saying things for both sides of it so...
Aha. I got a response straight away from the Deputy Development guy (Lukas I think) and told me there's a ''Get into refererring'' workshop tomorrow. I think they're compulsory now. Not sure if I can make it but signed up incase. Any idea what they do there?
Yeah that's what I was thinking of doing to be honest as I feel I'd need time to get a hang of it.
I'm surprised by that to be honest. Maybe the fact that I'd be quite a young referee could mean that it'd be better to start in youth leagues as I suspect if people spot I'm younger and maybe...
I'm in basildon so south west. Don't mind anywhere in the county really. Colchester is like worst case but even then I've been there a bit and it's only an hour away. Any idea if this time of year is likely to be a popular/ busy sign-up time?
