well i wouldn't have thought that they would have made a basic error of backing up the DB so I guess it is a waiting game!

    Chris Foy

I am a Stoke City fan - watched the game and yes, he had a bit of a mare as far as i can tell - but thats my opinion as a fan, not a ref! The article - shocking, but isn't that the media for you?

    Fulham - Liverpool

I believe this is still being looked into! oh, and if that's not a red - i'm a port vale fan

    Worst. Referee. Ever.

Personally - I would only talk to another official (on a game where i am a spectator) if i had official capacity to do so - otherwise, I am potentially creating a problem for myself. As Ryan says, regardless of age, experience etc, perhaps this was an off day (we all have them) hell, the other...

    Tying laces, do you wait?

To contradict my previous post - i would only ever stop for laces if it was the goalkeeper! Other than that, why would i?....As Ross says, nothing in the laws that says i should

    Yellow/Red cards

Agreed - However, if you caution the same player twice, you don't use the multi caution report form, you need to use the 'Standard Misconduct Form' and explain the reasons for the dismisall was for a second YC

    New kit

i have the umbro wembley kit from A&H. I'm a lvl 7 referee - but i don't think level matters - it brought this kit because I like it, the quality is excellent and it looks professional - so many referees in the lgs i ref in turn up looking shabby, so when i turn up looking smart and well...

Bolton v Stoke - The back pass, then quick free kick

I personally wouldn't allow these to be taken quickly - but that's me, i think we're all different on this one......on the was it or not question, TBH, that one could have gone either way and i'd imagine if it wasn't given there wouldn't have been many complaints!

Ukrainian referee hands out harshest red card

correct by the letter of the law, but laughable!

    Handball

I work on the principle that therhas to be intent to play the ball with the hand or arm, if so, i blow (then choose what action to take depending on the situation) - if i do'nt see intent, we carry on

    Darren Deadman and Billy Sharp

I fear that the backlash of not giving the card would have been quite bad - whilst I think it goes without saying that everyone is sorry for his loss and applaud him for playing in his current circumstances it was still his choice to remove his top - I can see why some wouldn't want a card, but...
