    HUD v FOR

Yeh it’s a pen for me. Maybe not a clear and obvious error to overturn though. Moss has had a mare booking him for simulation however in my opinion. Think whatever Moss gave, VAR was backing it up. Neither clear and obvious enough in either way

    HUD v FOR

I’m gutted to not be at Wembley watching the Terriers but we finally have a big moment in this match. Are we thinking pen? Was Moss right to book for simulation?

    RMA vs LIV

If I’m suggesting the ref needs to look at the monitor surely that means I believe it’s a C and O error. Won’t devolve this any further into an argument, just wasn’t sure your post was neccesary as there wasn’t much other way to interpret my post in my opinion

    RMA vs LIV

Gonna assume you’ve misinterpreted me because yes that’s what I wrote

    RMA vs LIV

And I believed there was a clear and obvious error therefore the ref should have been sent over to the monitor. Let’s calm down with bolding things lmao

    RMA vs LIV

Not according to Twitter, who are pointing out that he’s onside because there was a defender behind him 🙄 Walton has tried clearing it up saying it’s actually “quite easy” but I disagree. Think ref should have been sent over to decide for himself

    RMA vs LIV

It did look like Fabinho deliberately played the ball. Would have loved to have heard what was being said in that VAR room tho

    RMA vs LIV

We have the first big moment of this match after the madness preceding it. Do we think this is offside or not

    City vs Villa

Certainly not complaining from a fan perspective (didn’t want Liverpool winning the title) but how has there been such little injury time added on there?

    Northampton vs Mansfield

I was at the Huddersfield game and thought the pitch invasion was OTT seeing as they hadn’t been promoted yet. There was a mini pitch invasion at 1-0 and I thought if Huddersfield lose it would look embarrassing. In the last couple of days we’ve seen pitch invasion celebrations for teams who...

    Europa League Final

VAR determines not a penalty. Are you awarding one there?

    Europa League Final

Not long before we got a major incident. Are we showing a red to Lundstram for Serious Foul Play here or a yellow?

    Doesn’t take long!

    Huddersfield -Luton

Looked like a pen from inside the ground, not seen a replay yet though. However I have no doubt this is something Toffolo would do. Yeh it was amuaing but really smart. They knew a pitch invasion was coming

    Everton - Brentford

Yeh apologies I did that at 1 last night and you’re right, my stats dont show the full story so here you go. I did compare the live stats for the red cards and that still indicated refs were significantly less likely to show a red card with VAR, as shown on the other thread. With penalties...

    Everton - Brentford

I will bring stats into the penalty VAR debate. In the 2 full seasons since VAR came in, 23.6% of penalties were awarded were not given by the ref originally but were deemed by VAR to be a clear and obvious error. An average of 82.5 penalties were awarded without VAR, and 25.5 penalties awarded...

    Everton - Brentford

They saw my stats about 1 in 2 not being given and decided they needed to up it 😉

    West Ham vs Man City

In the first half, penalty or not? For me it’s a pen, anywhere else on the pitch it’s a foul, and I’m surprised Jesus hasn’t been awarded a pen

Junior/Youth Not sure about this situation.

I can see it at younger age groups for certain cards, but at U13 they know what they’re doing so Id be less lenient. You can still utilise words more than cards with kids but you still need to show cards. But for VC, no matter the age group, has to be a red
