Your county fa will normally say if they have nominated you. Then FA will confirm if you have been selected.

I did. But I wasn't using it as justification. In the previous post I stated that it had been taken out of law but was still appearing in the rules and I was responding to a user querying it. In the following post after this one I agreed that laws trumped rules, exactly what I am still saying...

That is not the laws but a simplified rules. It has also not been updated to the best of my knowledge since it's first version

As a level 6 referee you would wear your county badge. As a level 6 referee you will only be acting as an assistant referee. Step 5/6 referees are level 4s and sometimes, promotion candidates going from 5-4 are given these games as development/assessment opportunities.
