I think the refereeing has been good this WC but I honestly think I could have done no worse a job tonight. And even then after reflect I’d think I’d had a shocker. Really poor.

I'd completely echo that @one. I've enjoyed VARs largely "light touch" approach in the WC, with the bar for intervention where we all thought it would be when first introduced (allow the referee to referee the game and make minor mistakes, only intervene for howlers), but then now and again...

I wasn’t suggesting zero criticism - but there’s a difference between criticism (“I think they hit it wrong” or “it’s a tough job, he’s made a mistake”) as opposed to going much further or the lenient treatment of OFFINABUS.
