Open Age Competition rules vs Laws of the game

So what was the point in making changes in law 3 and allow for returning substituted player then? So that the coffin dodgers sitting in league committee can tell us that the laws are only guidelines?

Open Age Competition rules vs Laws of the game

Comp rule states that a team can use 5 from 5 sub's. But when team have just 1 sub, can they make a repeat sub? Comp rules does not say, whereas law 3 does.

Open Age Competition rules vs Laws of the game

When competition rules are ambiguous and you find the answer in the laws, which take priority? Been accused by my local Saturday league, of breaching competition rules where the laws are very specific, and support my decision. Obviously the team "wronged" have complained to league.

    First Hearing

Well mine is an appeal following a manager misconduct report. He actually told me that he'll deny it has ever happened. @Brian Hamilton What are the travelling expense for our CFA?

Ladies The keeper takes a penalty

Yes I remember a Juventus vs Bayer Munich 1-3 with Neuer scoring against Buffon from the penalty spot. Champions league game 2-3 years back

    First Hearing

Hi guys I have my very first personal hearing, and one of the senior referee in my RA, has covered everything with me. Now my question is... Do the CFA reimburse at least the travelling expenses? Its a 60 miles round trip.

    Appealing a S6

oh so now we are going on points? cool. ok then i lost both point. if you re-read my original post, my comments were on the joke side, as blue player informed me he is a ref (at the end of the match every player is a ref) and he was going to appeal it! Thats why i said i had to keep a straight...

    Appealing a S6

@Brian Hamilton never mind the photography guidelines. I knew that you can't appeal an S6, and a more senior referee, confirmed it. Only you seemed unaware of the fact. Oh and on a more personal level, could you post stuff without belittling other fellow referee? We get enough of that week in...

    Appealing a S6

@Brian Hamilton think for a minute how the British legal system work, now add the law of the land, and for good measures add tort law. Also I am rather surprised as an ex referee, and as a observer/tutor, with all your experience, something like this have slipped your knowledge.

    Appealing a S6

P.S. in regard of photography, the FA might have their own regulations, supported by CFA, but as an individual, I have rights protected under the civil laws. So if the ground is not in a public place, anyone needs my permission to film me. End of.

    Appealing a S6

How can a ref be wrong in law issuing a S6? If the ref doesn't know who said what, then I can understand it. But this player shouted it in my face, and reiterated it later in clubhouse full of players. I remember reading that S6 and S7 cannot be appealed, but I can't find the document. @Brian...

    Appealing a S6

@Brian Hamilton Open age About 5 yards I don't know how he did that. Pitch was in club grounds so not a "public" place, only a place open to public, and he still needs permission. Unless CFA have changed the discipline rules, only appeal he has is mistaken identity. Which is not the case here...

    Appealing a S6

Today's game, blue vs claret... Blue player starts getting cheeky with me and after a while I had enough and told him to watch his language. Not a minute after that, blue player in claret PA, tries to shoot to goal misses the ball completely, while challenged by defender, theatrical dive, and I...

    First Assessment

As for the report, it was very detailed, saying that i had a good first half. But in second half my standards slipped etc etc, and suggests point to improve. Well i have to say that in second half i was getting bored of giving free kicks for one team, as the other didnt seem they wanted to play...

    First Assessment

@Brian Hamilton No the decision to take a break came from feeling fed up week after week of the shenanigans from players/manager. Been called all sorts i filed red cards and misconducts and nothing change. And guess what CFA discipline dept had the nerve to say... I am "allegedly" filing too...

    First Assessment

Whoever the assessor was, i never got to meet him, neither before of after the game, i only know i have been assessed because an email landed in my email inbox today. I thought that he/she would at least debrief you after game? Go figure.
