I expect to be relocating in the summer to a new county FA, currently Level 5 but expect to be promoted to level 4 by the end of the season. Can I go straight in as a level 4 at new county / Location?

I've never heard of pre season friendlies or friendlies during the season counting towards any promotion pathways.

Maybe relocating that way. What are appointments like for middles? At present I get about 3 middles a month and up to two ARs a month.

I agree with using the step approach, but if it doesn’t work, we need to utilise the tools at our disposal. Otherwise, games can get out of hand, and you might lose control, as it appeared the referee did in the original post.

At the grassroots level, this is what it's like. My advice: use your tools effectively. For dissent, use sin bins, especially if the dissent is clear. For reckless challenges, issue a caution; there's no need to over-explain your decision. Also, for careless fouls, once the free kick is awarded...

They are not changing LOTG. Competition rules permit adjustments to game time. Similarly, when an adult team plays a doubleheader at the end of the season, the halves can be reduced to 30 minutes each.

The best approach is to actively referee as much as possible. Complete the online FA workshops for referees and apply for promotion to Level 6. This could potentially lead to an invitation to join CORE for the next season.

NO colour clash, Just get on with it no need to get involved. As referees we don't need to go looking for problems.

Different club and referee obviously made the call with information they had and the incoming weather, not everyone will agree and another referee may have played the game. As we know it's a game of opinions.

As you know, matches at step 6 and above are rarely called off without a valid reason. However, in park football, the decision to cancel a match is sometimes taken out of the hands of the clubs and referees, and is instead made by the council

I'm not sure they are, you have to take into account the distance teams maybe traveling. I think to many games go a head without thing about safety of all involved. Again a early call is better than waiting for everyone to arrive.
