    Doncaster v Mansfield - Offside

The image is that blurry I wouldn't be confident the kick point is right. Majority of assistants will go early in situations like this, you may think you don't but most do.

    Arsenal vs Chelsea UWCL

@socal lurker This in Women's Champions League so UEFA jurisdiction. For VAR the clear and obvious criteria doesn't apply as it would come.under serious missed incident (if the VAR viewed it as a red card).

    Arsenal vs Chelsea UWCL

We saw a few red cards and suddenly the referee community decided it was an automatic red card There are far more instances of it not being punished with a red card.

    Arsenal vs Chelsea UWCL

Yet another hair pull not not being classed as violent conduct.

    Referee social media accounts.

Referee Forum is now huge. The owner seems to be an Alexei Sayle knock-off with questionable views. Has started to use AI to create anonymous posts to drive content. The American one is quite frequently wrong in law but he's enthusiastic and a good communicator. Their are a few twitter...

    Clear red for who?

    UEFA VAR reset

Careful what you wish for. I get the impression that Rosetti regards handballs as factual not subjective. Nearly any ball hitting the hand in the build up to a goal will be chalked off, any time the arm stops a shot on goal it will be penalized.

    VAR allowable restart interventions

Scratch that. After querying why a throw was different they've said they made a mistake and restarts, except penalties, can't be reviewed

    Brentford v Wolves

At least two players made strong appeals

    Brentford v Wolves

Clear backpass but too far back to intervene. Right non-intervention from VAR but for the wrong reason. The ball is passed out then goes back to the goalkeeper again

    Notts County boot!

Thought he stopped play for a foul at first. More importantly, for this forum, where was the restart from, and did he signal IDFK?

    Notts County boot!

Why isn't he stopping play when the offending team have position?

    Chelsea vs Newcastle

Caution them one by one until they disperse. Cole Palmer looks to be on the spectrum and probably wouldn't even realise it's inappropriate.

    VAR allowable restart interventions

@es1 Should be clearer now. The answers are from IFAB.

    VAR allowable restart interventions

A goal was disallowed by VAR for 2) in the EPL back in August. My question " 1) A long attacking throw, attacker scores a header. The throw-in was improperly taken, eg one foot in the air. 2) Attacker less than 1 m from a 3 man wall when a free kick is taken. Goal is scored directly from the...

    Manager sent-off

Are managers allowed a view of the pitch if sent-off? Manager was sent-off, was then seen above the dug-outs communicating to the benches. Same Karl Henry who hired a QC to fight his charge at an u12s game

    Munster v Hertha

The screen failed with Simon Hooper last year. There is a backup screen on the floor that he looked at apparently. Not sure whether that would have it's own, dedicated, power source.

    Most red cards

They weren't shown on the pitch apparently. I'd be interested to see how the game resumed after this (if indeed it did) https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cly2ejpdp43o
