    Tottenham vs Arsenal

Comms have been updated to better ones for this season. Last seasons I think had been stored in a cupboard for a short while prior to their distribution to clubs.

    Tottenham vs Arsenal

VAR didn't rule it out. On field decision..

    Rochdale Vs Scunthorpe

Umm no because the force used was negligible (Caveat that I'm referring to player on player. Player on match official 🟥)

    Penalty Kick Question

It's a bit of anomaly to this principle because with feinting it always happens before the ball is in play.

    Memory and Awareness

Yea well, I once did this and it didn't work. Had an observer too. Thankfully someone else put themselves forward and even more thankfully the observer also didn't realise this has happened.

    Memory and Awareness

The trick is to not wait for something to happen but to constantly "commentate" I try to catch both players (potential offender and victim) in case it results in afters. It helps with anticipating what's next too.

Referee’s Procedure in Case of a Mutual Altercation Between Players During the Match"

Dead thread. An apt username @betterlatethannever although it doesn't necessarily ring true when posting on old threads 😉
  14. JamesL

    Tottenham v Man City

Did he play advantage? Assuming he did if he went back to it and so this would be correct as spa + advantage = no sanction.

    Open Age Spectator issues

Abandonment is extreme but ultimately is the final nuclear weapon of choice. Only those named as players, or substitutes, should be on the field of play and with permission drs, physios and or stretcher bearers. Given you have no powers beyond that, you can't even sanction the manager as they...

    Tottenham v Man City

Not sure I go along with this. An "off the ball" could still be as a result of showing a lack of attention or acting without precaution. And that could interfere with or stop a promising attack but does not automatically become reckless.

    Open Age Spectator issues

First is to identify they are spectators and not subs or anyone that falls under your authority as the match official. Sounds like you did this. In theory the Home team are responsible but in practicality using the away manager was probably the sensible option. Ultimately, you are powerless to...

    Palace v Chelsea

I'm not sure that PGMO do think it as I recall, and I've since left twitter so dont think I could get back to it they release a law changes video and it debunked the CORE misinterpretation. I also wrote to IFAB about it, would you believe:

    Palace v Chelsea

We actually received the same misinterpretation at CORE. I queried it and was shot down. I was pleased to see a PGMO video which supported my interpretation that it still has to be an offence Interestingly I had a comment/question from a manager at the end of the game who asked this very...
