    England v Croatia

I don’t think the BBC have helped that situation with their choice of setting for her piece. I can’t believe nobody thought it was a bad idea.

    Switzerland Vs Bosnia

Not sure how a game that was 0-0 in the 73rd minute ended 4-1. What a manic ending.

    IFAB changes for 26-27

Referee gets hit by the ball by accident and possession changes. Player down injured. Referee asks if he wants treatment and he says no. Player has to go off? 🤔 😉 only joking

    IFAB changes for 26-27

I haven't spent too much time studying them just yet, hoping this weekend will be insightful and then I'll ensure everything is nailed down.

    IFAB changes for 26-27

And I am corrected. It certainly does read that way. Either way, in the scenario you describe, I think if I did stop play I'd be calling the physio on immediately. You want it stopping, you have treatment, not just a rest.

    IFAB changes for 26-27

I don’t think that’s correct (although I stand to be corrected) The referee stopping the game for an injury doesn’t mean the player needs to leave the field, it’s if the physio enters the field. Many referees if stopping the game will automatically call for the physio though, as if the injury...

    England v Croatia

I don’t think that image is clear. They showed a still on our tv yesterday where it looked pretty clear he was just off his line, but yes the clearing defender’s encroachment is clearer.

    England v Croatia

It was goalkeeper encroachment too to be fair. Could have been either.

    Portugal vs DR Congo

I think a red card would have been a big surprise tbh. I think maybe what saves him is that the congo players leg was also slightly off the ground and that reduces the danger level. I did like the caution procedure actually too. Very clear in his mind what he’d seen.

    England v Croatia

I thought Kane was way worse in that regard tonight. Thought it was Bellingham’s best performance in an England shirt

    England v Croatia

Excellent performances from Turpin and England. Very impressed by both. It’s coming home ladies and gents 🦁 🦁 🦁

    ARG vs ALG

I said there was an argument for it. You could describe studs on the back of the calf as savage/ruthless. I’ve voted for a caution. I don’t think it quite meets SFP threshold

    ARG vs ALG

Excessive force or brutality. Clearly this doesn’t have excessive force, but there is an argument for brutality. I’d accept it either way.

    ARG vs ALG

For me it's one where the on field decision stands regardless. It is nasty, but I'd be happy enough with a caution on a lack of force basis.

Bonus points to the BBC commentators for not listening to the announcement and saying 'penalty to France' as Faghani said 'the attacker initiates the contact'...

    5-4 promotion

Average pace of 4:36 per KM for 12 minutes if my maths is correct

    5-4 promotion

It may be a better approach to ensure that barring any injury problems, you will pass the fitness test, and going to it full of confidence.

    5-4 promotion

So passing a fitness test as a level 5 isn't essential, as that's nothing to do with the FA... all you have to do for the FA is pass the fitness test at the start of next season if you get promoted, however, to get your level 4 promotion you have to be nominated for it by your county FA. They...

    Ear moulds

Haven't actually received / tried the earpiece yet, but I've been very impressed by the service compared to VOGO. £25 for the impression from Specsavers. £75 for the mould, and having sent him the impression first class on Thursday 4th June, he's sending the mould to me today and I should...

    Germany vs Curacao

To add on to this, I’ve just seen that the reason the W was selected, was because when being assigned a new 2 letter ISO code, CU, CR, CC and even CX were already taken, so CW was selected because of the capital city Willemstad. So effectively CUW stands for CUracao Willemstad
