They are Assistant referees, haven't been called linesmen/women for many years now besides them being female shouldn't make a difference. Over the phone, just check how they are, confirm the fixture with them and discuss travel arrangements, let them know what time you want them to arrive at...

They are part time with the exception of Darren Cann and Mike Mullarkey, who don't receive a salary!

You hear some FL managers moan about referees and some weeks it's obvious how some referees are struggling at points in the game, this won't be solved until they are made professional.

With his knowledge of the LOTG, I doubt he even was on the FIFA list, could have easily found the picture of google!

Really? Normally assessors love to see referees play cracking advantages, in the penalty area, I always wait a second or two to wait and see if there could be a possibility of an advantage, as Supermonkey says above, if they score as soon as you award you penalty you may as well have just dug...

It's very simple, if the ball does not enter the goal, you award a penalty!

Defiantly, I played a similar one at the weekend, clear foul in the penalty area, the ball dropped to an attacking team mate, he had two attempts after the first shot was blocked but put away the rebound and I signalled the advantage!

I know, I couldn't believe it either!
