In a competitive match he could have got away with red, but given the way he was reffing the rest of the match no way. I am certain that if Valencia had reacted there is no way he would have been carded at all. Valencia had to be sent off - VC has to be punished regardless of circumstances.

I thought the ref did well with the yellow for the dive at the beginning, but should have shown a couple of reds IMO - one for a second yellow and one for VC
