    Southampton v newcastle

But he is also behind the man, even though that doesn't affect whether he's offside or not.

    Southampton v newcastle

So are we saying the player that the ball is played to is behind the man and the ball at the time of the ball being played?

    Signalling for a Penalty

Yep - flag as it is an attacking free kick, then put the flag across your chest, hold it until the ref has seen it and pointed to the spot, and then drop it.

Open Age High foot or short person

Firstly, 'high foot' isn't a foul itself. If no contact is made and you deem it to be 'high foot', then you award an indirect free kick for Dangerous Play. If contact is made, then you award a direct free kick (or penalty if in the box) for Kicking. It is irrelevant of the size of the...

    Southend vs. Oxford

He has been very good to be fair to him. Although, he did miss a Fellaini elbow, which he had a perfect view, about 5 yards out and booked him for it.

Slowing the game down - law 18 - pls add to list

I do this too - but thought you were looking for more unusual things if you like. On Saturday, I had 1st v 2nd, and the game was quite tense when one team got back in it. 2 players were name calling etc, saying 'say that to my face' so I pulled them both in, and spent about 40 seconds talking...

    Junior/Youth Caution at Academies

It is easier with liners, but as I said depends where I am! I don't mind! Especially as the liners at early ages are at the Prem clubs, not FL ones I do

    Junior/Youth Caution at Academies

Yep, agree with that too. Depends what academy I'm at, some have liners at U12. For one of the academies, they say only if they are blatantly offside, not if they are making the run. This is because they don't want the players to stop making the runs, but by calling them every time eventually...

    Junior/Youth Caution at Academies

I don't agree with the no cards way inclined in academies; only one of 4 I do still enforces it. But, many rules aren't the same! For example, nearly all academy games I've been involved in have been in quarters, apart from U15&16. But, in the LOTG, does it say we can play in quarters? Nope...
