    Advantage from Sunday?

For the exact opposite view, my local FL AR presented a session recently in which he was absolute in saying that is having two bites of the cherry and therefore he'd give idfk for the offside. I'd lean more towards bringing it back for no advantage.

    Scott Brown tackle

It matters not when, in the manner of his challenge in that context, that much excessive force is used. However, of course, as has been pointed out elsewhere, this referee is apparently better than me as he refs in a higher league and is a higher level and as he thought otherwise, case closed...

    Scott Brown tackle

I'd hate to see what you class as dangerous then. It's probably the tackle after this one when both his legs are broken. And even then you'll think twice.

    Scott Brown tackle

You need your eyes testing then ref (with respect). Off feet straight leg double footed 100 mph excessive dangerous lunge v player who pulled out and was going for side foot block. I would hope that all refs would agree that this sort of dangerous tackle has no place in football. MMA perhaps but...

    Hi

Just a shout out for reffing at youth level. I currently ref at youth level because, having been asked to ref as a parent for my son's u9, u10, u11 and now u12 team, I retook the course to get my badge back. And what I found was that I enjoyed educating the children, with the unwarranted belief...

    Hi

Good luck. Out of interest, did you learn anything on the course that you didn't know about when you played?

Pen for belly push on Sterling? I would.

    Big penalty Boo Boo !!!

Wow thanks. That's all rather concerning!

    Manager not paying up.

Clubs are fined £25 each time they don't pay the ref in our local league.

    Big penalty Boo Boo !!!

Really? When has that ever happened?

Open Age What do you reckon?

You're very callous. He was only saying 'great decision ref' :D:D

    Manager not paying up.

I would report him now. His club will get fined for nonpayment if it's in the league rules. I would ask just once for the money in future and then report them if they play silly buggers.

Where's the caution for 20 for wandering off via the width of the pitch when subbed?

For the dangerous both feet jump into James? Red for me. I'd have liked to see a penalty for the careless push on James as well.

    Harsh or fair??

The law states; 'the player must leave at the nearest point unless the referee indicates otherwise'. I would say he is still infringing even the spirit of the law simply because it would have been quicker for the player to run to the far touchline to get off the pitch even more quickly. Your...

    Harsh or fair??

Do you not think the Referee's authority is diminished if he does nothing?

    Harsh or fair??

By that logic, you'll be agreeing with the player who says, 'well no one said I couldn't punch him'. Players should know and abide by the laws.

    Harsh or fair??

    Dissent. Well played ref.

    Scousers V Foxes

I've seen plenty more ridiculous decisions. Clattenberk in the MU v CPFC FA cup final in only yc Smalling for a start. The IDFK is separate to the caution for simulation in the same way a punch by Mane sees him get sent off but the penalty still given. Disappointing that the only objection on...
