I mean when a free kick is so blatant a defender picks up the ball (and you've just waved away the free kick I'd use any trick in the book to bring it back for the FK. Defender is stupid but I'd hate myself giving this.

Seen this guy plenty on Insta. His decision making isn't terrible but in the UK he would probably have 5 red cards a match the way he speaks to players. Tbf though I'd take him over the old school refs that let aggressive teams kick the sh** out of the opposition and don't issue one caution.

Ditch the "Clear and obvious" standard. It's so ambiguous and varies from person to person. The objective should simply be "Make the right decision". In the few occasions it could go either way just get the referee to the monitor! I don't care if it takes 2 minutes to get a RC decision right...
