    Level 4 Club Marks

Yes, I have thought that. I know of a level 4 who was offered, and has taken, SAR after their first season, based on their performances in the middle. I'm genuinely not trying to throw my season or anything as I want to prove to myself I can cut it at 4. But I've known from day dot that middles...

    Level 4 Club Marks

Thanks for all the replies so far. I will add it's my first season at 4. And I have no intention of progressing through the 'middle', I'm definitely more of an AR. I have been since I started a few seasons ago. I'm just hoping that if I'm down the bottom come the end of next season (as I can't...

    Level 4 Club Marks

After 4 middles on MOAS where I can see my club marks, it seems I'm in the 'not a particularly good referee' books with a good few of the teams, rather than a different book. Not really sure what I'm doing wrong as I don't feel matches go particularly badly, I generally have control and...

    BACS Bank Payments

Can you use a Post Office to put your money in? I'm with NatWest and can use post office and have a standard bank account.

Falling out of love of refereeing

Reading that makes me think in your shoes, I'd be speaking to the managers before the game and saying that verbal abuse will not be tolerated, set a low bar. If you need to bring a card out after 5 minutes for it, so be it. Tell them you will consider abandonment if you managing participants...

    West Ham v Manchester City

Are we having an issue with a player who just 'grabs the ball' and doesn't attempt to take the throw in? Grabs it off the floor to underarm throw to a teammate. That's more what I think GraemeS is getting at.

    Respect handshake

I usually look at whichever team has completed their walk out first and ask them to start.

    OFFINABUS

Sent a captain off after the final whistle whilst we were doing the handshakes all round, had been a good game, home team won by a goal after being 2 up in the first half, some of away team were a bit vocal but I didn't feel it went above my threshold for dissent, I was managing it without a sin...

    Whole game system

I add all my games but only to stay in the habit. Takes all of a minute or so to add games (unless you've been busy with the cards 😂) so I find it's easier just to do it.

    How many cards?

177! (Though I did count double yellow reds as 2 cards, not 3. Not that it would've made much difference)

    How many cards?

31 games in the EFL today. I've just worked out (according to Livescore) how many cards were given in total. Let's see who gets closest 😉 (no cheating!) I'll post the answer tomorrow at midday (if I remember).

    Wednesday Vs Saints

Couple of cards coming out for DRP after about half an hour. Let's hope the players at the lower levels are watching the game and take it onboard for tomorrow...

    MOAS - Morning and afternoon

Makes things potentially awkward for me then as I'm a driver for work, my latest finish is usually 4 ish, but based on your example, surely I'd be better just closing my full day? Or are the FA generally understanding? I wouldn't want to close every weekday fully on the chance once in a blue...
