What do you stick the decal county badges on with - unable to get embroidered anymore.

Badges - stick on and changeable

Hi folks I see some higher level referees with different badges that they can stick on top of their normal shirts. Is there a good way of achieving this? I don’t want to have a shirt for my grassroots or county and another for national women’s. Can’t afford it!!

    Crystal Palace vs Millwall

Had a Millwall fan (old school) at my game today. He asked what gk is meant to do. I explained that I understand that there was no intent but it had to be a red card. Doesn’t matter if you get the ball or not - just so dangerous.

    Bournemouth vs Wolves

Haha! It’s entertaining - not necessarily insightful.

    Bournemouth vs Wolves

This is where there should be two tiers of SFP- one match ban and 3. The argument is that it is up to the player to remain in control of their bodies - but also this argument works for both sides, as sometimes unfortunate things happen. Will be interested to hear more on this tomorrow on Ref...

    Everton vs Man Utd

My main opinion here is that AY does dive making the falling unnatural. Had he had just gone down, I actually think he would have got the penalty, but he dived like he had been knocked over by an HGV. However, I think that being able to hear the referee comms live would sell the decision...

    Bournemouth vs Wolves

As a referee, I think this is a nasty tackle, and worthy of a RC. I understand the argument of VAR getting involved, but I think it was out of control and comes under SFP. Of course, I am totally biased, as I am a Wolves fan...

    Brighton v Arsenal

I think this was one where Luiz cracked Jimenez’s headthat Arsenal got away with a few seasons back. To me it is late and a foul. I think this whole ‘in the box’ threshold nonsense needs to go. If it’s a foul, it’s a foul.

Newcastle Vs Aston Villa- Duran Red Card

This is a really tough one. I think it is unfortunate. That is my thought. The first one is purely accidental, second I think is avoidable, but not sure if deliberate act. A really difficult one - it would definitely fall under the SFP instead of VC imho.

    Sept 27-28 Premier League discussion

My issue is the change of direction once he has slipped. He had the chance to pull out of it.

    Sept 27-28 Premier League discussion

Pundits saying it’s not reckless but it’s out of control so not a red…. Crikey… Also - it doesn’t matter if it is an accident.

    Recording cautions etc…

I know that this is decisive, but I do use RefSix for timings and goals AND write on card stickers. I do both because both have let me down on at least one occasion. (The card due to sweat and bad handwriting, and the watch do to me not charging it properly!! - both user error). REFSIX app is...

    Sept 27-28 Premier League discussion

MUFC V THFC Think I totally agree with the red. The slip happened, but then, when out of control he continued to change direction of leg. Think it ticks the boxes for the SFP: Height, control of body, speed of impact, studs showing. For the neutral it’s quite a good game - end to end stuff.

    Rice red card

Petulance by both. Brighton player clearly knew he would make contact, but not brutal or ‘violent’. But also Rice being a muppet. Only has himself to blame here. CK did miss the one earlier, perhaps have BotD as was far from the whistle? Either way, players must learn if you play with fire...

    Hi guys

Touchlines (both types). They’re brilliant. Have some shocking Amazon flags for club ARs.

Ahh ha. Good refereeing then, I’d say. BBD clearly briefed to wind him up to get a reaction.

    Premier League Matchweek 1 discussion

You put your head towards another players head, you make the decision for the ref. Ref did the right thing, but the initial foul should also warrant a caution as was unnecessary.

    NED V ENG Euro SF

I think if it’s given as a foul; it is reckless. But I’m very red and white bias. So tough to be impartial.

Finally - one of the LOTG questions happened!

It happened!! Indirect FK for an offside inside the box. Defender lightly touches it and kicks it again! Takes me a second to work out what happened (as was totally uncontested and keeper just behind - so no need to do it at all). Blow and give an IFK to attacking team. No caution or red as...

    Everton - Forest

My pennies worth… Football comments: Pen 1: Would be soft. Seen them given, but not convinced. Pen 2: I think based on the interpretation of the LOTG this season it is a pen. I think the law is incorrect, but these have been given a lot! Pen 3: I think this is a nailed on penalty...
