I think at that volume a yellow is an easy sell - if said loudly a red would also be fine. Sounds like you managed it well - only person who didn’t manage the situation well was the player.

I can understand the first pen from the angle - initially looked like a follow through from the keeper, but really wasn’t - was clattered after getting the ball. The second KMI is a real pity, everyone expects a DFK for defending team.
