I am in total agreement that hair pulls should be a red card, but even as a wolves fan, this should never have been a red card.

First pen was very soft and a tangling of legs… Second is a HB offence in UCL so fair enough… Third was a dive. Minimal contact. Great to see dives not getting credit. Should have booked him too!

I think it is Haaland who keeps him on the pitch as he doesn’t go down like he has been shot… But I do agree that Gabriele was lucky not to see red.

Again I think this is where the LOTG are outdated and need sorting. Things to add: Unacceptable sporting conduct - hair pulling, genital grabbing etc. = red card Making physical contact with a referee = red card Little things that just should be in there but are not. Football will always come...

Think players have had enough opportunity to learn that hair pulling of any sort, accidental or not, will result in a red card. PGMOL have been very consistent with this to their credit.

I’ve tried the Puma this season and am not convinced. The shorts are better but the rest not so much. Back to Nike next season for me.

I’m ok with a red. From behind, scissor tackle and I think it’s a good call in real time.

I agree that LOTG need to have more of a backbone against unacceptable conduct. I know that football doesn’t like to ‘copy’ rugby but they are so far ahead of us with referee respect.

What is definitely not subjective is that for the neutral, this is a fantastic game!

That is what I thought - Makes contact with the defender's head... clearly high boot imo. Nonetheless, it is a cracking game, but seems like many subjective moments.

Think that goal being allowed is farcical. (Neutral). If you make contact with your foot on a defender's head that high, you are asking for trouble.

Absolutely agree. Was a nasty foul too, but didn't meet the threshold for RC. But no intent to play the ball.

I am in agreement - felt that the contact was more than a coming together, more of a late and slightly reckless challenge.

I don’t send off for general swearing, but if it is directed at me and is personal, e.g. as one player experienced last season shouting “ref you’re f***ing s**t” (twice in a row), they can have a red - I understand frustration, but that isn’t an excuse to be abusive. I have sent a player off...
