    Offside/penalty

Found this.. Must admit took me several watches to see handball. https://streamin.link/v/929b12fa Should be a penalty. Law, again, says the player is only offside when impacting the defender (when not playing the ball). How does the defender know he is 100% in an offside position? Its...

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (EFL Cup)

I agree, more thinking that the powers that be dont want their poster boys looked at wrong (thats not implying bias, just that these are the ones bringing money in to the league by means of clicks on posts etc which is creating more for sponsorships and, there you have it, sponsorships soar)...

Arsenal v Crystal Palace (EFL Cup)

Have to say, not his biggest fan (but that's because until recent years his foul detection has been quite poor I feel, remember a blatant elbow to face in his early EFL days where the player fouled actually got a broken eye socket yet he got penalised!) but I felt Atwell had a good game last...

    Hanwell Townv Hungerford

We have that ability only because someone filmed it and uploaded. The ref doesn't and deemed it a foul. The first question we should be asking ourselves in this instance is "is it in or outside the area?". We all know referees have one look at things, especially at this level. I, personally...

    Hanwell Townv Hungerford

Chris Moore, former EFL player and now manager of Hanwell Town has criticised the referee with saying "how can they compete when this happens". The penalty (assume it was a penalty, one was scored in the game) looks to me to be outside the area but he only has one look. But where was assistant...

    Tottenham v Liverpool

One other card potentially missed, though apparently checked, was Richarlison after scoring.. he literally had his hands around his opponents neck.

    Tottenham v Liverpool

This could be an interesting thread. Love to know how either R or AR on that side failed to detect that being a red without needing VAR. How has Romero not been given a straight red (despite it being a 2nd yellow) for a blatant kick out). Bentancur, would you be considering more than a...

    Man City v Brentford

The interview i have seen looks like its in the press room, video supplied by Niche Sport Media. Ashamed to say it was posted to TikTok (i am not a member on there but can see the post).

    Man City v Brentford

Im not saying its truth. Just saying what he has claimed.

    Man City v Brentford

Keith Andrews has said in his press conference that officials explained to him the player did not see red because of distance to goal. Apparently he was too far from goal.

    Newcastle v Fulham

    Oh definitely. Not helped himself.

    Man City v Brentford

You've already pointed out that Sam is not Sunday level. Therefore his ability, reading of matches is far above any of us, with very experienced AR too who can give honest opinions too to "SUPPORT" the referee. If they can't see that as DOGSO on the field of play, then they've clearly got it...

    Newcastle v Fulham

6 have been added. But in the 30 odd minutes ive watched has had a few injury hold ups and 7 subs over 4 separate "windows". Cant honestly tell if he has added any of that particular incident, but i agree, its one of my pet peeves too. Just caution. Dont care if its in the 5th minute. Why do...

    Man City v Brentford

You liked comments that support DOGSO in that game but cant seem to support a foul, outside the area, very close to being central and only the keeper to beat. The game where you "liked" the dogso posts (reasonings for agreeing to dogso) the attacker was much wider, had more to do, with more...

    Man City v Brentford

Maybe you can see this one.

    Man City v Brentford

Dont know how more centrally he could be and be heading towards goal, even if 5° to the right, can't be seen as DOGSO yet you agree in the Blackburn thread with a few posts for DOGSO when play is nearer halfway line and nearer touchline, not even close to central like this one. Oh well.

    Newcastle v Fulham

Cuenca is spoken to by official for setting up to take a free kick, taking his time and then leaving it to the keeper. Ref blows up to stop the game even more and just speaks to him along with the captain. Surely if you're saying he is delaying by doing that action, then caution. All he has...

    Man City v Brentford

It was 0-0 at the time. Whole different game if he was sent off. Would Foden have come on for Bobb at that point or would a defender have come on? Makes a huge difference. I also disagree with the direction reasoning personally, and not because of whom I support. A professional attacker has...

    Man City v Brentford

Going to say as little as possible here but surely that was a red for DOGSO?

    Arbroath

Was a good game from what I have heard (spoke to next door who is season ticket holder). And got to conclusion maybe right decision to keep going but just seems, to me, that id be thinking this is not a game of football but an actual lottery with the wind.
