    Correct in law?

Based on what you've described, pen and red for me. He has grabbed the legs to absolutely deny a goal (dogso) with no attempt at the ball. His sole action was to stop a goal.

    Keeper Injury/Tactic Talk

Just seen that Dubravka went down, softly, and got a free kick and stayed down... All Burnley players rush to Parker to receive instructions on how to stop Fulhams onslaught. Backfired when they conceded minutes later to make it 2-1 Fulham. Really hate this tactic and glad I see the women are...

    BHA v Liverpool

Be fair, I took image from a news page. Its not mine, per se.

    BHA v Liverpool

Is this offside? Semi Automated looks odd to Welbecks standing position.

    Bournemouth vs Man United

I am aware of this. I was commenting on Rustys part about the physios seemingly awaiting permission from the manager. Physios seemed hesitant to go on because, as a neutral would see it based on history, they were probably unsure if this was part of tactics or genuine. We know it was more on...

    Bournemouth vs Man United

I know he did, but the thing is it reminds me of the phrase of the "boy who cried wolf". Players go down when they dont get hit. And I would have a good guess at that this is instruction from management (tactics). So in this case, considering the history of this very player and other...

    Celtic v Motherwell

Just seen the video with ref audio... The replays show foot on foot but does also show the foot on shin too. They focused so much on where it actually stopped rather than where first contact made. On field ref even, after VAR confirmed on field decision, asked to be double sure of it as he sees...

    Bournemouth vs Man United

I laughed when Alex Scott went down holding his head in the area again with a couple mins to go. Done it recently too against Brentford, forcing the game to stop and take momentum away from opponents. Players know what they're doing and are forcing the hands.

    UEFA VAR reset

Thing is, people still dont accept offside as they go on about "its just a toe" or the 5cm allowance that Dale Johnson mentioned as if its literally fact and from PGMOL. Its from a journalist who has said its from PGMOL. The next argument is when do VAR know exactly when the ball was played...

    Man City v R Madrid

Vini Jr doing his best simulated impression by pretending he was smacked in the face. Yes, a foul but I do think the card was sold by the holding of the face.

    Man City v R Madrid

Have to say, a good use of VAR. Patience and calm by on field ref. Very quick on his decision too. Silva done what a lot do and puts arms behind back but then sticks his elbow out to stop it. Actually think he'd have been better off keeping his arms natural.

    Brentford v Wolves

Mis-phrased as they said challenged, not tackled.

    Brentford v Wolves

Been trying to find a video of it. VAR apparently said it was a challenge which is why it wasn't looked further. He looked at the keeper, shaped his body for the pass, was challenged in the mean time but deliberately kicked the ball to the keeper. No doubt about it.

    Brentford v Wolves

Hate to be that guy but how the officials missed the absolute back pass that led to the Wolves goal before half time. Not sure how VAR couldnt get involved. Keeper picks ball up from back pass, plays it to defender, gets it back and then sets the attack going. HT analysis says VAR called it a...

    PAL v LEE

Probably but I also dont see how that should be a factor. If an offence is worthy of a card, give the card.

    WHU v Brentford

There is chat among Brentford fans that by not giving the first penalty, which was clear, and not giving the 2nd one on Schade that if VAR had to intervene for that one that would really undermine his game/authority. By potentially not giving 2 penalties, that in my opinion should have been (at...

    WHU v Brentford

Summer ville, on a yellow, commits that foul and no further action?!

    WHU v Brentford

I was thinking that but didnt want to be the one asking that question.

    WHU v Brentford

What gets me is how VAR gives that penalty, but says no to the reckless tackle on Schade at the other end. Studs straight on his foot even if a glancing touch of the ball. We all know getting the ball is not something that means no foul has occurred.

    WHU v Brentford

Dont understand how Madley hasn't given that penalty in real time.. I'm starting to agree with McCoist here saying that some refs are relying on VAR. Take that away, think Madley is actually having a good game.
