How would you handle player calling the opposite club assistant 'cheat'?

You would dismiss for anything "discriminatory or hateful" said to your CAR. So we are clear, then, anything offensive, insulting and/or abusive aimed at your CAR by a player or club offical is OK by you, as long as it's not "discriminatory or hateful"?

    Interfering with play?

Genuine question - was the 9 (the "offside" player) nearer the opponents' goal line than the ball when it was crossed?

    Goalkeeper Control 2025/26

It also has the definition of controlling the ball . . .

Man United Vs Leeds - first goal foul on Yoro?

This is not a "slap in the face". This is two players competing for the ball. No complaints from the player in red(?)

    First time with ARs

Go to the "Resources" section of this site for some useful guidance. As it's Under-11's, agree with your AR about managing the technical areas, as the occupants may not be used to defined technical areas. Take a piece of paper with the headings you intend to use. Enjoy the experience.

How would you handle player calling the opposite club assistant 'cheat'?

Thanks for confirming that. You allow a player to call a CAR a cheat without a red card, as you consider it "not offensive", so what words/actions towards a CAR would result in a dismissal?

    A&H International LOTG question

Or a counter-attack in added time, which the referee allows to continue with the goalkeeper stranded in the far penalty area with his team-mates . . . think I read something like that very recently 🤔😂

How would you handle player calling the opposite club assistant 'cheat'?

Would any verbal offence to your CAR, heard by you, result in a dismissal?

How would you handle player calling the opposite club assistant 'cheat'?

Red card - the one "c" word most officials treat as a red.

    Doncaster v Mansfield - Offside

At the speed this was played, an Observer (unlikely to be in line with the players concerned) would not judge on a single incident like this. Worth asking the AR about it, but no chance of saying right or wrong.

    Doncaster v Mansfield - Offside

As you had clearly made your mind up, adding an opinion from a still picture adds little value to the issue.

    USA v Belgium kit clash

Perhaps they should be looking for yellow instead of black 😉

    Doncaster v Mansfield - Offside

Whatever the AR decided here would upset one team or the other. Only because a goal resulted is it under wider discussion.

. . . and to have your back to the player making the pass . . . 😂

How lenient are you with OFFINABUS

Out of interest, do you ever send off for O/I/A language and/or actions?

    Germany v Ghana

I share your view - there would be no offence if the attacker was just inside the area as he is not anywhere near the goalkeeper's line of sight.
