I reckon they are both a hoot in the changing room.

    MUN vs BOU

You not watching Wednesday either? 😂 I was a bit conflicted myself. A terrible challenge from Dalot but Semenyo has took a huge risk. I think a yellow is ok but I dont think many would have too many arguments against a red card.

    Gomez challenge on Wirtz

This is bordering on fan posting.... Keeping tabs on specific refs against specific teams is very clearly loaded with fan bias. Please carry on the discussion but do so in the right way, please.

    Off the ground tackle

Leaving the ground before jumping? I don't even know where to start 😂 I think in a sliding challenge there is always an element of leaving the ground by it's very nature, I think it's the height, lack of control and lunging elements that give rise challenges that, generally, need to be punished.

    Real Madrid v Manchester City

Doubt on whether he actually makes that header. This is not DOGSO for me.

    Reckless Challenge-after play stopped

Threatening people violates our forum rules 🤔 (You're welcome @Kes) Ps in my view we are discussing the content of the OP. So whilst they were seeking a specific reply to part of the scenario we are absolutely still on topic here as it pertains to the scenario directly in OP.

    Reckless Challenge-after play stopped

Yes. A reckless challenge is the same with the ball on or out of play. The reason I honed in on whether play should be stopped is it read like you stopped it because it touched you and not because it touched you and then one of the things happened that meant you had to stop play i.e. Possession...

    Reckless Challenge-after play stopped

You were correct that one you had stopped playing the restart can't change. I am a little more interested in why you stopped play 😊 what happened after the ball hit your foot?

    Strange request

I think the report belongs to the county fa and so the request should go via them.

Observers (Step 6 and above) To No Longer See The Overall Mark Awarded To Referees

It won't be the same for everyone per se. I could benefit it I could really lose out. I've done 9 games this season and had 1 observation. I know of other referees who have done less games but had 4 observations. So if the average mark goes up I win but if it goes down then I lose because those...

Observers (Step 6 and above) To No Longer See The Overall Mark Awarded To Referees

I think that there are observers out there that mark to an average. Be that their own or the pool. There are also many more that just do the report as intended and let the report mark itself so to speak. There must be some data or science behind it but in my l experience the average mark on...

    Overhead Kicks

I had similar thoughts but I recall in the earlier VAR days, might have been a Norwich goal, there was uproar in a similar situation.

    County RDO'S

I have always been tremendously complimentary of our CFA due to how exceptional our old RDO (same geo location as @Will_A) but since he has moved on there is a noticeable gap that doesn't appear to have been plugged nor any real communication on plans moving forwards

    Chelsea v Arsenal

But there is very clearly a gap between the ball and his head so this is either a moment before or a moment after the first contact with the ball and these small moments can change the outcome dramatically. Having caught it briefly last night, without much attention paid, it does look as...

    Chelsea v Arsenal

Agree. Not enough info in the picture, not is it the exact frame required to make a judgement but as described a possible offside offence that I hope would be checked to be sure.

    Newcastle v Manchester City

You've taken my post out of context there. I was talking about it can't be seen with the naked eye in the MLS.
