I think this is possibly the most baffling decision I've seen to date. It's very clear to the naked eye that Diagne is onside, yet the refs have seemingly become so reliant on the tech that they won't (or can't) overrule the on field AR.

The more I think about this the more it doesn't sit right. At the very least I think it's worth a conversation with my refs sec and the age rep for the league, so will pick that one up.

5Y and 5R followed by an abandonment in an U18 game. Pretty horrendous game with a few yellows before a mass confrontation led to 5 reds (3 for throwing punches and a further 2 for OFFINABUS).

Just my third game back and already had "one of those games". U14 youth match (red v yellow) on Saturday morning ended with three yellows, two sin bins and two reds. Relatively easy first half aside from an early penalty to yellow after a clumsy challenge from the defender (no real complaints)...

The ref is, as they say in the business, having one. Not complaining too much because of the luck we’ve had in recent years, but it’s not a penalty on Rodri (yellow for dissent for Can maybe?) and not a foul on Ederson.

On the same note I've reffed Scholes snr in a couple of charity games.

I personally can't see how this is a penalty. For me Kane overruns the ball and then throws himself into Cash to initiate the contact - clear simulation.

Just had an academy line come through for tomorrow! First game since mid-December :) Fixtures have also gone up from Easter weekend for my grassroots league, so all looking very positive!

Maybe he's realised that with our penalty record he's better off staying on his feet and trying to score.... :hmmm:
