    Watches telling me different things

Agreed. It is quite annoying as I want them to be accurate!😂 I seem to trust my Apple Watch more naturally. I’m not sure why.

    Watches telling me different things

Morning all, Whilst officiating, I wear a Apple Watch using refsix on my left wrist, and a Spintso S1 Pro watch on my right. I’ve noticed this for a while- they both tell me that I ran different amounts during games and I’m not sure which one is more accurate. For example, I did a step 5 game...

    Violent conduct, booking?

Yes- I am qualified. It’s not always ideal but I’m always fair when I do it. I think the manager of the district team (who I coach with) likes me refereeing. So he asked me to do it. It’s not always ideal but if there’s no one else for our boys on a Sunday morning then I end up doing it anyway!

    Violent conduct, booking?

Absolutely! I’ve seen him do it at a tournament. He does it to wind up opposition players. At u15’s, it’s crazy!!

    Violent conduct, booking?

He got booked- not for pinching someone, though!

    Violent conduct, booking?

He pinches their backs. It’s quite odd. Not their butt, backside, etc. The players’ backs. I didn’t have neutral assistants for this one but thankfully (the game was earlier today) I am not aware of any incidents with him pinching anyone. He did get booked though 🤦😂 (not for pinching. For SPA)

    Violent conduct, booking?

Thank you. I know this particular player has a reputation for doing this when he plays- but I’ve never heard of him getting sent off

    Violent conduct, booking?

I can’t find it in the laws of the game- is pinching someone violent conduct or a booking? I have a game tomorrow. It’s a district game, u15’s. I coach 5 of the boys playing (they’re the home team). One of the boys told me that one of the away team players pinches players from behind. I have...

    Pre match instructions

For me. I get the email from the club. I thank them for getting in contact with me and and tell them I am looking forward to the game. With the managers, I introduce myself. Ask them how they are. And if there are team sheets, I ask them if they are completed and if not, say can I have them by...

    AR Fees (Professional)

Thanks for letting me know. I find it quite interesting :)

    AR Fees (Professional)

Thank you. Love how they put it up if it’s televised😂. Is that only for 4th official? Or do all the officials fees go up?

    AR Fees (Professional)

Do you know what the fees are for middles and 4th official on there?

    U14 - Assistant Ref opportunities

If I remember correctly, (or I might be having a complete brain breakdown) but are you from Sussex? If so, Brighton academy might be worth it. I believe they use neutral AR’s even at u11’s. I presume it’s the same for every academy in the country.

    AR Fees (Professional)

I’m not quite sure what they are but would your work colleagues not see themselves as part time/ semi professional? Especially level 3?

    Y1-Y2 Promotion

We have some level 5’s in the middle on step 6 games in our area! I haven’t yet come across a level 4 in the middle for a step 6 game. They only seem to be for step 5 in the league I operate in

    Refereeing age limit

It should be one year below your own age. But I am not sure wether this is age groups (so u14) or not. I am 16 and I do adults football and am an AR at step 5/6. At 16 you can do any age.

    Needing new watch

I use Refsix and that works quite well. yeah I can trust it. It seems to tell the wrong time when it died and then I recharged it but after I connected it to my phone it was fine again. (And still is. I am wearing it right now and it’s fine)

    Needing new watch

I use it as well. I quite like it. I do keep track of bookings on my yellow card and I use my notebook for subs, red cards, and various other information
