    WSL- Arsenal vs Chelsea

Stop making excuses. This was a rather basic decision that they got wrong.

    Goalkeeper Releasing the Ball

Would be really embarrassing to be an observer or tutor and get this wrong

Very expensive? 👀 Challenge based system all round. Men’s and Women’s games 😍

    WSL- Arsenal vs Chelsea

Completely agree. Whilst they’re fast tracking female officials, they hardly passed their courses 2 weeks ago. I’d like to think that someone who is in essence at the top if their profession can be classed as an expert rather than a novice. The delayed whistle is so strange. I initially...

    Eh, penalty?

    WSL- Arsenal vs Chelsea

It is abysmal though. The referee is in a stadium that had over 50k people in, and they were the only one who believed they saw a handball. That had to equate to abysmal. If it’s borderline, fair enough. I’ll take the disallowed Liverpool goal as borderline right/wrong. But this one is abysmal.

Correct, should have said outfield players. My bad

When you say doesn't understand the game, what does this mean?

    First red card

First of all, well done for taking a stand against what you saw as OFFINABUS. What can you learn? Make sure you're aware of laws/comp rules around things like sin bin. Its a genuine error, but if you give clubs an inch, they'll take a mile. If you're going to issue a red card, I wouldn't be...

Actually, take the AR comment back. Looks like AR runs up pitch as soon as goal goes in

'Handball' around 5:20 mark. Really, really poor call. I think AR gets involved in it

    City vs Liverpool

All of the ex-referees who are now acting as pundits do. None of them seem to add any value to anything. Clattenburg & Hackett will always criticise and say they were wrong Gallagher for the most part just agrees with the referee (then adds incorrect soundbites as seen above) Dean tends to...

    City vs Liverpool

Yeah, just been reading the transcript of that. The AR simply signals someone is in an offside position. It’s for the referee to ultimately make the judgement call. "I'm not trying to defend [referee] Chris Kavanagh, but we shouldn't hang him out to dry because he didn't make the decision...

    City vs Liverpool

Well, no. Howard Webb confirmed that the correct decision in the Wolves game was goal "It was disallowed in real-time. There was a bit of confusion initially as to whether it had be disallowed. It had. The on-field officials determined that Bernardo Silva had committed an offside offence when...

No 2 incidents will never be exactly the same, but they aren’t going to get much closer than these 2, so of course it’s relevant.

At which point was the goalkeepers cure blocked yesterday? I didn’t see any City players appealing

If this one was offside, why wasn’t Stones’ vs Wolves?

    City vs Liverpool

Mike Dean didn’t have a clue. He changed his mind as soon as offside was confirmed
