    Celtic vs Braga

Some of these refs could be replaced by tossing a coin and it'd still get more right This is a shocker. Every angle it hits his head.

    Darren England VAR

Not seen that yesterday The time he took at the monitor made me think he was going to stick...Will be an interesting one for tv no doubt

    Darren England VAR

I thought it was a shocking intervention, would have loved JG to stick with his decision At least he didn't get involved with the Newcastle goal (incidentally the least deserved goal of the season - they've been battered!)
  5. E

    Brentford v Man Utd

They need to do much better then. Comes across like they're watching different incidents

Offside - deliberate play or deflection?

i described it above as a 'stab' which is what i think it is (you're right it's not a stretch), the ball happened to be played within reach (from close proximity) so he shoved his leg at it. i'm really torn with this one

Offside - deliberate play or deflection?

disagree with this, the motion is definitely instinctive for me. hmmmm watching it more...i'm disagreeing with myself actually

Offside - deliberate play or deflection?

But there's a difference between deliberately playing at the ball to block/intercept and a pass, and I think this is more the former than latter

Offside - deliberate play or deflection?

That's incredible, great clip. Definitely intentionally plays at the ball/stabs at it but its far from a controlled movement or pass. Morally onside...offside in law, possibly

    Liverpool vs A Madrid

    ok

    Liverpool vs A Madrid

you recall i said the decision was correct in law yes? i dont like the law!
  14. E

    Liverpool vs A Madrid

i think by being in that close a proximity to the ball, goal and keeper and given the path of the ball and player there will have been some impact, no matter how small. the fact the ball went in (and was probably going in regardless) shouldn't negate the offence.
  15. E

    Liverpool vs A Madrid

i'm saying that i dont agree with the law and its interpretation/application - the decision is 'correct'
  16. E

    Liverpool vs A Madrid

I can't fathom a scenario where this should be allowed, regardless of what's written in law

Real v Marseille Penalty - Handball

a world where this is an expected handball is not a world i can ever agree with. totally against any principles of 'intent'

sub players / coaching team on the FOP after a goal scored

i dont see an issue with it, players/teams want to celebrate together if anyone gets into any funny business then deal with it, otherwise ignore it and move on
