This question may sound stupid but from the “England football” website I could only see it mention “dissent towards the referee” not assistants and it didn’t mention the word “match officials”. I’ve never had to think about booking or sin binning a player for dissent toward a CAR but my question...
Friendlies will come with the good rapport you have with clubs. Out of the 3 tournaments I’ve had/have this preseason, one was appointed by the CFA, one was on our appointment system and one was through contacts I have
When you download strava on your phone it automatically downloads onto your watch, the data from the watch goes onto phone app. When you finish your workout you press done then it uploads to phone app
In some cases if the CFA centrally appoint to local leagues like mine does then they will have an appointment officer who is payed, but once again is a part time role.
do you want the exercise app for running or reffing games. If you want it for reffing I guess you could start it a minute early then start your REFSIX then at the end of the half end your REFSIX then go over to stop your exercise app then export it over to strava
Yes it is. I normally do all my runs straight onto strava but when I do tempo run sometimes I use the exercise app. Once I’ve completed the run on the exercise app i save it and it connects to your strava, all you have to do is go on strava and click connect activity to strava and then it will...
Go on the workout app, press the 3 dots on “outdoor run”. There are a few default choices but you can edit some to make your own interval workout. E.g 800m hard 200m easy
It excellent if you can get fourth official experience in at preseason because most CFA appoint fourth officials to their county cup finals and when you don’t know what your doing it’s an somewhat awkward job, but if you have that experience it’s a lot easier
I’ve been a fourth official once...
That’s really interesting actually because at mine and @Gabriel level it would be standard for usual match fee. Would you mind sharing what percentage on average cut you would see and does is get wrose every time you go up a level?
I’m lucky I had a tournament a week and a half ago, got one at the start or June and the end of June as it stands, alongside this I’m playing for a team in there tournament within the next month alone
I know most youth clubs don’t let the CFA know about friendlies but chances are If they ask you to ref you have reffed them in a league game before suggesting they are affiliated.
Although if the club lets the CFA know about the friendly usually the CFA will appoint a referee meaning you can...
As far as I believe the ban only includes 11v11 football meaning 9v9 and mini soccer like tournaments are fine.
Most clubs will naturally pay the same as they would normally but before you commit yourself make sure you confirm ( e.g “just to confirm referee fee will be usual rate of £25 for u14’s”)
