League cup and don't have a handbook

I have been allocated my first game on the 12th of October and it's a cup game. How do I find out the competition rules like how long the halves are, etc?

Thanks. And also do you have to have the county badge sewed on because on my course they said it didn't matter but all other referees I've spoken to said you have to.
