    Bayern Munich vs Inter Milan

I’m really interested to hear from some of the more experienced refs in this page about this incident. By definition that’s clear Handball. But I’ve seen plenty of refs say no. Common sense alwys tells me these type of offence shouldn’t be Handball as it’s going hit the face/body anyway, so...

    Warning Players

Agree.. be attuned to the language the players use, not swearing obviously. that sounds like a teacher telling kids off.

    Top VAR drama!

You knew what I meant. I was just trying to illustrate there’s lot of occasions in life that people don’t know all the laws and footballers are no different.

    Klopp escapes ban

Not just a match ban, it needs to be a training ground ban. A coach not being there for 1 game makes no difference. Look at Contes punishment, he basically called the refs/VaR cheats and asked his club to back him. 1game ban.

You agree with this and yet you posted on my comment that you nearly got whiplash from my comment..

Thanks for that. I feel exactly the same and don’t understand all these refs saying that players should absolutely know the laws. If he surprised if most of the refs knew all the laws and intricacies.

    Top VAR drama!

Do players really need to know all the laws. Do we know all the laws at our work places. That’s why we have H&S depts, it’s their job to know. So a player not knowing I have no problem with but interviewer would have been told why it was disallowed and he simply could have told the player...

    Handball - VAR

I think this shows the problem with the law. As it’s not really a law but more about an individuals interpretation of the law. Can’t see how anyone doesn’t think It’s a mess.

    Wilson Lloris

Agree about decision you’d make, but of moaning from Wilson but soon gets over it. At same time glad it wasn’t as lloris was pathetic. Sick of these players play acting and cheating for a foul from every single contact.

    Wilson Lloris

The question is, what’s Wilson supposed to do.. lloris runs Into Wilson. Lloris plays for foul.

    Handball - VAR

Ally McCoist on radio this morning saying No way it should have been a penalty. I know he’s not gospel but just showing another opinion that shows the law to be all over the place.. who defines what’s natural is my issue.

    Bournemouth sliding handball

I’ve just watched 1st one again and there’s no doubt for me the West Ham player purposely moves he’s body to knock/change direction of ball. He’s been very clever keeping his hands down, after that I don’t think it will be the last time we see it.

    Bournemouth sliding handball

This is the massive issue at the moment isn’t it. On a scale of 1-10 some ref can be 1 and others 10. And that can’t be good. I agree with you that both decision could be as you describe but then I’ve seen footage that makes it look like he flicks the ball with his body turn,, why is he...

    Handball - VAR

Arms in the air isn’t a criteria for handball. Unnaturally bigger is and it didn’t look to me like he was thinking of placing his arms in an unnatural position when he slid in at that pace. His arms where natural to him.

    Bournemouth sliding handball

Surely the current law is the exact reason it’s not a handball or the exact reason it could be debatable. Being high isn’t in the law. Aren’t his arms in a position that’s justifiable for his sliding actions. I’m not fully convinced the The goal should have been allowed as he purposefully tried...

    Handball - VAR

Totally agree. So many decisions I see given in PL would never be given at Grassroots, every single touch is given as foul, even when is obvious player has just collapsed for FK. It makes it so hard to ref every weekend at GR.

    Bournemouth sliding handball

Yes his arms are elevated but it looked to me like they where natural to his slide. I didn’t get the impression he was trying to make himself bigger. Another I feel goes against their own laws and makes Grassroots impossible to ref.

    KFTPM - bizarre situation

So you basically just remove the opportunity of the 11th kicker of other team, regardless of who they are and then start back round at kicker 1.. is that correct

    Wilson Lloris

Who’s giving the free kick to Lloris. Im really glad it wasn’t as Lloris played for FK because he’d messed up as usual. Instead of flopping to the floor, if he’d have just got up and back in his box he’d have actually been able to just catch the ball. Also Handball from spurs player, would we...
