As I said on a Facebook page, the player turns his back at the last moment so his intent is made clear. As a goalie before refereeing I would be screaming at the ref the moment I've kicked it and probably followed through as high, hard and far as possible to make the attacker think again about...

In my first few games I found myself kicking the opposite ankle when turning. Almost thought of wear ankle guards!

I think the "get on with the game lads" nice and loud as you go running by could have been a good ploy so any aattempt to break up the attack can be penalised if needed. Tricky one though @DaveMac.

Essex RDO is very good (built the whole game system) and there is a good development group but I think it's very competitive, there are a lot of young refs in the county.

Yacihno is there a code on the French disciplinary system with the abbreviation of USB? I'm just wondering as the translation could be a clever fit?
