Is there a way to signal for a contentious goal kick without looking like offside? I had a line yesterday and I held the flag above my head to get the referee's attention and then lowered it to signal a goal kick. However the other assistant said he though I signalled for offside. Any pointers?

Majority of the time no caution and just a warning. The goalkeeper won't bang the bar as the kick is being taken because it would affect their ability to make a save (arms are all over the place). I let the keeper bang the bar for the last time, wait for the bar to stop moving and then whistle...

Okay, that's what I did and I've been trying to be aware of celebrations more rather than head straight in the book.

Simple query: Team scores a goal and are celebrating then subs and a sin binned player enter field to celebrate with the rest of the team. Are you warning them, ignoring them or cautioning for entering FOP?

Not so easy when only one of you to manage and players never wait on half way and always cross on the pitch. If there's multiple subs I wait until I think they're finished and count players before restart.
