I got called a ‘stupid fanny’ today. That’s a new one. Had to control myself to not laugh. I did caution for it though. In the moment I was indeed a stupid fanny as I got distracted, the ball went out and I had literally no idea what happened or who’s ball it was.

Thanks for that. I considered the dropped ball. I guess with hindsight that’s the easier sell- but I did just tell them that the lino had flag up and sorry. I had already caused mass confusion with two other dropped balls earlier in the match lol. (Both correct in law)

I’ve prob give 2 or 3 handballs in around 12 matches. Agree that most are accidental.

If the hands are in an unnatural position (like making themselves big etc) then there would be a good reason to give it.
