Unlike most here - I don't get a summer break at all (last time I did was in 2004). My schedule at the moment for the summer is as follows:
April:
27 - ESFA Worcestershire Schools U-16 Final - Referee
28 - Bromyard Town Res. vs. Martley Spurs - Infirmary Junior Cup Semi-Final - Assistant...
Tried it out on two games so far - bloody brilliant. Can get much more of a variation in tone with it than I can with the Fox 40 - and the loudness is excellent. Although I spent the first 10 minutes of the game on Thursday partially deaf as I foolishly gave it a full blast at kickoff...
Some of it (the purple & black and the green & blue) is rugby refereeing gear as most of my non-black soccer stuff is in storage ready for Bognor next weekend.
I've accumulated quite a bit of stuff over the last 15 years...
A few from the archives:
Prior to Refereeing a Fan's Game between Bohemians and Shamrock Rovers at Dalymount Park in Dublin a few years back - had the services of a FIFA AR, Ciaran Delaney, (on the left of the three) as well.
Getting soaked prior to refereeing one of the 7-a-side Finals...
Picked up a Sonik Blast from Greaves in Glasgow (the guys who supply the SFA Referees with their gear) on the way back from Ayr.
Like the lanyard you get with it as well.
Will be trying it this Thursday in local action.
Just looked up the bag on A&H - I have a similar one from Errea - which should be small enough to count as hand luggage on flights - although I would measure it first.
Lots of room inside as well to get all your kit in.
:D
Lol - it's not line marker spray - it's the spray you see being used in South America to mark the position of the freekick and the wall at 9.15 metres - it vanishes after about a minute or so
If you're that way inclined - I found this item for sale when browsing the web to see if the Argentinian League kit was on offer anywhere:

About two-thirds of the way down - £5 a can. Although I'm not sure if they ship to the UK :D
Well - had a couple of things confirmed tonight. My club marks for Sunday football were up at the League Average (mid-high 70s), and my Saturday League marks (the lower divisions of our local Supply League) were apparently up in the mid 80's.
So it looks like the Assessments are the issue here...
Some salient words there - will be speaking to people tonight.
For the record this is the 13th time I've not gotten promotion. And this season it sucks particularly
Our branch meeting is this Thursday. Will speak to our local league appointments sec - if my club marks are as good as I think - then I may take it further
Got my letter through this morning - didn't get L5. Despite giving the CFA regular updates on games I was appointed to (in accordance with regulations) - only received 4 Assessments all season - one of which was an extremely poorly written report that a couple of people here have seen, which...
