    Roma Goalkeeper Red Card

I've always thought something should be done about the Law surrounding the restart of play with FK/goalkicks/corners. Far too ambiguous. Perhaps there should be some emphasis in the laws about using the hands to place the ball and the risks of using one's feet to do so

    Commercial breaks. They are here.

There are some right Roberts-Smiths in the FFA. I hope I'm not defaming BRS in saying that.

    Commercial breaks. They are here.

Or it means they fear reprisals

    Wrexham vs Wealdstone

Is there not a wee touch on it around the penalty spot? Looks like it accelerates somewhat

    Man Utd v Southampton

Oh boy, that looks like textbook SPA and nothing more to me

    Weymouth v Chesterfield

I'm going yellow in real time. If he plays with that much force, but is ahead if the attacker who comes over him, play on. But get it wrong and clear out the attacker with the trailing leg, it your torso, and you have problems. Don't see it being red, though. The speed of the challenge isn't...

    Leicester vs West Ham

My view is that the law was changed to accommodate for doubt about whether a player has used their shoulder or their arm. We should not extend doubt to whether the ball has hit above or below their underarm because that is piling doubt on an allowance for doubt - we should interpret it strictly.

When can a non-interfering offside player get involved again?

Need to keep in mind, as I am sure @GraemeS did, that an attacker who knows he is offside may also know the laws (shock). He could be intending to get himself into a position to challenge the GK when permissible. To simply flag out of an assumption he is chasing the ball down to challenge...

    Man Utd v Southampton

Frustratingly, the foxsports commentators in Aus explained the law change as 'ya can't get booked for a shirt pull if they play advantage' and made no mention whatsoever if promising attacks. You can imagine the confusion at grassroots.

That's a heck of a lot of chaps with frontal lobe damage... How embarrassing

    Wolves vs Arsenal

Small point... He didn't literally say it, he literally typed it. On another point, he seems to me to have really been making a point about YC fouls and then referees being excoriated by players immediately afterwards - we've all seen it ignored. It is a matter of routine. That being said...

Agreed In real life you just latch onto a course of action and hope for the best

    Colchester v Swindon

The FK outside the area is not DOGSO for me. Yellow had stopped and allowed his mate to run into the ball. The foul inside the area was an attempt to play the ball, so YC. However, plausible to give YC for the collaring, and then a very quick second YC for the DOGSO downgrade

    Brazil v Ecuador

VAR is a little into himself!

    Brazil v Ecuador

I was quite happy with the penalty for the punch. Even if you says it's not reckless because the contact was glancing (I'm not convinced) the ball was still available to be contested by the attacker and Allisson has cleaned him out! It's not like the punch put the ball into orbit and killed off...

    Preston v Sheffield United

If the foul was for holding then I think that came just after the last touch which seems to have gone straight to a defender!

    Koln Hamburg KFTPM

I was concerned he was going to allow a retake. Excellent, courageous, precise refereeing.
