Free kick awarded to team A for a reckless challenge from a team B player. Team B player is injured and receives treatment. When can the team B player be cautioned? When they're on the floor (generally I see referees wait for players to stand up before showing a card)? Do you wait until the next...
Not a notebook user either. I use refsix on my apple watch, many referees don't like it and find it too fiddly but I've gotten used to it. Records everything you need perfect for sin bins and time keeping. Quick, easy, keeps everything in one place and gives you a match report on your phone...
Got a county cup appointment involving step 7 teams who would have roll on subs in league games. This is in the rules for the competition (don’t want to interpret it wrong).
‘Five substitutes from up to five nominated to the Referee in accordance with Rule 11 below are permitted at any time...
Should we be implementing the new directives from PGMOL and The FA in the grassroots game this season e.g added time tougher delaying restart cautions and cautions for asking for a card? I’ve only seen the Fa email for steps 2-6 but nothing for grassroots.
So referees at level 4 and above now receive free kit does anyone know about the women's game? I understand level 2W and above receive EA branded kit already so will 3Ws get free kit as they can wear the new FA badge?
Has anyone come across this before? I just stumbled upon it and it's great. It's a blog included clips and analysis for technical development.

I've refed a few games for my school. Normally you get one or two players who will try and play 'the big man' in front of all of their mates. My advice would be to try and get these players on side early and build rapport or show them you'll take no messing and possibly show a card early.
I was told on my course that you could ask the opposition's physio if they're willing to administer treatment or abandon. I can't see allowing the sent off person to remain pitch side causing anything but problems.
It's always tough showing cards at youth level especially reds. I had a red in U14 for SFP this weekend. Obviously I didn't make the decision lightly and I was in two minds right until I showed the card but I'm happy I made the right decision. You didn't hear anything so you couldn't take...
I had a game charity game round of 16 in a national cup competition so a big game. I was in the middle with 2 good friends on the line. I felt I managed the game well throughout. As expected the last 10 get more intense with one team a goal down. Had a corner last min of injury time defending...
I'm a L7 lining on step 6 league. On MOAS it says club reports are available next to the fixture. Are these club marks? And can I access these or is it only for those on promotion or the referee?
