    Sounds as if there was a genuine attempt to play the ball especially as you said he may of got the ball obviously can’t be sure without seeing but in that case LOTG say yellow not red I believe.

    Don’t agree with its use on a forum like this and will call out what I see as demeaning other referees I work in a profession where I don’t always agree with peoples practices however I wouldn’t publicly demean them I’m the same as a referee.

    Problem is if it’s a non club channel e.g. grassroots channel leauge gives permission for all footage to be uploaded and ref will have agreed by being on the leauge my mate has done a leauge which had some games filmed by one and that was procedure.

    I ref u16 and up as adults that means no leeway on SPA or FT but as long as language isn’t excessive or at me, AR or other players will let it go

    CFA can actually step in and force leagues to appoint a ref if another ref were to complain he wasn’t given a game to them.

    Issue comes when you have clubs linked / reserves of those higher up who technically can wear dark kits then try to avoid being last weeks ref and end up in a situation where you get wrong.
