I understand that it all comes down to the ref (and knew someone would say something like this when I typed that ;))
The main problem is that IFAB have written specific scenarios (making body bigger...) into Law and said that Ususally that will result in handball.
By Law the OP is handball. The...
Best advice I can give is: is it going to make the game farcical?
If you can't see to make ball in play decisions that would strongly indicate it's not worth playing.
Reading the Laws of the Game this is usually handball and I would have expected VAR to give it.
Personally I now think IFAB should issue clarifications as to what is and isn't handball (including distance from kick to arm, proximity to attacking goal etc).
All this is doing is portraying...
Was there a foul just before the back pass? Regardless it does look like a back pass and so IFK. Happy with the red else that kind of behaviour becomes acceptable
You have shown a red card to the player, when you dismiss him your process should involve taking his name - shirt number is incidental.
One of the other players should take off his shirt and put on the goalkeeper's in order to distinguish him from the outfield players.
In about my 8th game I forgot to take a coin out of the car before the game. Ended up doing which hand is the blade of grass in.
Not a problem for the captain's (it was grassroots after all)
I now take 2 coins every game
The number of calls that players make for handball when they've whacked it into an opponent's naturally placed hands (not making body bigger etc) from 2 yards away makes me very fatigued by handball.
Personal preference for some. I border 3 counties so just kept it to the FAMOA
What kit are you going for - the below link is for the 2018 Nike kit for £50 and I think they put the badges on free for this one. Whilst it's a bit older design it might be worth a look...
I'm actually staggered that a manager would do this. A few choice words at the end of a match is still misconduct but sending a text is easily provable and hopefully CFA will slap an E3 misconduct on them without any further issue.
If the defender keeps his hands off the attacker then there would be nothing to call here.
Even if you think it's simulation (I don't) the person at fault is the defender whose actions invite the player to go down and the referee to call DOGSO.
Clear as mud :-) Thankfully this will probably never happen. It probably shows more of an insight into how far back on the pitch IFAB consider handball to be influencing the creation of goals.
The alternative restart though is a penalty in the kicker's penalty area which I don't think anyone...
I've had a few free kicks lately that have immediately been countered. Ref was very switched on to see that reds had the numbers to make a go of it.
Yes there was a risk but it paid off and the offender is a couple idiot - looks like the ref even has a word in passing as he hurtles up the pitch...
This is almost trivial really but something I observed when I ran the line today for a ref.
(Usually in my coin toss I ask the Away captain to call heads/tails before I toss it)
My middle today said "Heads for Home and Tails for Away"
I quite liked that as it took away any suggestion of bias...
That was a good call. If a match is abandoned because of the conduct of ONE of the teams then the Competition management should be able to let the score stand - and in the Standard Code there is no default time on that so it could be the in 1st minute+
From his angle, and it could well be that a player was in the way, that could be very difficult to call. If you're not certain then DOGSO red would be a huge decision.
Incidentally the worst mistake I see is by the defender - he gets two touches and should really be putting it into safety.
