I actually saw it on twitter with this - seems like referee couldn’t do anything about it. But as @RustyRef said, this is exactly why there is a technical area and why it should be enforced.
I think this is where the laws should have some leeway as it was a clear error of judgement/mistake from the WBA manager (this is coming from a wolves fan!). But the LOTG make it clear that it has to be a RC. Don’t think there was space for discretion.
This is excellent advice.
Walk back and sin bin the loudest who walks towards you.
Some referees will say that it is ‘weak’ or ‘bad game management’ if you sin bin… they are wrong. Some games need them.
Congratulations for not being last weeks referee. If a player is old enough to use...
I think this is the way that it will go eventually - and a fine - dissent is the cancer of the game (like diving and feigning injury)…. Also - the FA must be missing the money from C2 cautions!!
I think sin bins CAN be excellent. Sometimes they have the desired effect.
I’d like to see them change it slightly. Keep the 10 minutes, but make it also count as a normal yellow, and include the admin fee/fine.
Out of 32 middles this season I have given 6 sin bins. One of which was on...
Where are you based?
Happy for you to PM me. May be worth asking someone from RA or in your county to come and see you for a couple of games - sometimes we are missing a couple of small things in our game to make things easier for ourselves.
I also think that the penalty decision was correct too!
So the fan was doubly moronic!
Hopefully this will get enough traction to make a positive change.
Again - shows the calamity that is VAR.
As a wolves fan I believe that Gomes was correctly dismissed, but the Damsgaard challenge was equally bad, if not worse.
C&O needs to be changed to “incorrect”.
Aside from it being one of the most boring games of football benown to mankind...
Thought the offside ruling was about right to be honest. Think Salah was just close enough to line of sight to warrant it being offside, and glad PT went to the monitor to make the decision himself - added...
I think they are good if you are using card skins - as the 'red' red card is often quite dark, making it less clear to see. I prefer the brightness of the yellows in these packs, but do prefer the 'redder' reds of A&H style reds.
Unfortunately the Nike winter coat quality is appalling and have returned after one outing as zip ripped already!
Any recommendations for a decent coat for coaching, arrival at ground etc.?
Think VAR has been effective here. Wish they could just stop the clock though!!
Ayew very silly red. But think it is understandable for the 2nd yellow - because of the space to run it was spa imo.
