Tops arrived yesterday (had to send back others as needed to go a full size bigger). They look good. Will be walking around the house in them for a few days to wear them in!

On the Puma kit. I trialled it out in a pre season friendly the other day. Have to say it is very comfortable - love the shorts in comparison to the Nike. Underlayer is not great, wouldn’t buy it again, flimsy and actually quite short on the torso. Shirts are good quality. Socks are, well, socks.

I have preordered £300 worth, however not got any personalisation. Probably going to return it all for now. Will see what I feel. Might use it for my normal grassroots games/youth, but that £300 could go towards much needed other stuff… Anyone else already ordered it?

The macron skins are really flimsy unfortunately. I didn’t get on with them. Black tubigrip sounds like a good plan. I just use a cheap beige one - but that’s because I’m cheap!!

Why is the law there? To protect GKs. I think referee does a fast whistle, looks very much like he has control of the ball in real time. I feel for both sides of the argument but to call this a howler I think, is harsh. GKs put their faces/bodies in the line of fire and if we don’t protect...

I think at that volume a yellow is an easy sell - if said loudly a red would also be fine. Sounds like you managed it well - only person who didn’t manage the situation well was the player.
