I'm 56 now. I did the course when I was 42 and got to level 4 at 49, off at 50 (fitness test!) but got back at 52 then off again at 53 (bloody fitness test). Got great support from both District and County FAs all the way through and still do. I wish I had done all this 20-30 years earlier but...

Ok, that wasn't good advice. Call the player to you and meet them halfway. Explain that you are cautioning them for whatever the offence was, ask their name and write it down, then calmly show the yellow card.

Run up to the player, shove the card in his face then skip away punching the air shouting "gotcha!"

If you've had the time to get there and stand in front of the ball it simply can't be quick any more. We all have different views on this but standing in front of the ball signals you're managing it. Your observer hasn't given good advice there.

I think you've just answered it there. If the keeper's kicking it from his hands and the attacker attempts to block then it could easily end up with contact/injury. By throwing/rolling it with Benzema 2 yards away there was no threat to player safety. Ultimately, Karius has simply got it...
