We're not expected to use CARs for offsides where I referee. I watched my mate refereeing a county cup game in another county last week where they do allow it. To be fair, the two CARs were good; better than some neutrals I've had on supply leagues!

It was a really good meeting. Martin Atkinson showed clips from some of his recent games and opened up discussion on some KMIs. One society member was a pain in the arse but the rest of the evening was brilliant.

I didn't cover this in my pre-match yesterday but noticed one of my NARs standing in front of the corner flag at far side corner kicks. Although he was well over 6 feet tall the strong wind was blowing the flag around and would have been a distraction even for him.

I agree, with the 1st penalty appeal the defender's foot was planted on the floor and made no movement with her leg when the attacker tried to get past. 2nd penalty was a stonewaller. Offside, 1st movement was tight but the player behind decision was terrible.

I watched my mate refereeing an open age County Cup game last weekend (Several counties away from where I live) and he only got £20. To be honest @spuddy1878 I think it's poor form to turn down a game for this reason.

The supply league I'm on is step 7. I have never gone to a game on this league without wearing a shirt and tie even in the lower and reserve divisions. It's usually a suit but in colder months a warmer coat but always shirt and tie. Same goes for County and District cup competitions.
