Ball goes for a throw in on half way line. I'm not sure who's it is but my AR (blue teams sub) gives it to his own team. Then yellow player scream "you cheating ****er"
Am I right to send him off seeing as he has effectively yelled that at a match official?
So I referee for a team fairly regularly which is a 5 min walk from my house. However because of recent flooding all their games are being played at the oppositions pitch but being classed as their home game. So the team traveling is the home team (hope that makes sense lol)
Because they're...
No chance would I say something. As a player I almost always have a wee in a bush before the game. If I got booked for it me and my team mates would loose all respect for the ref
Also I have occasionally had to do it whilst reffing.
I once called advantage but the player on the ball stopped still and said he'd prefer the free kick. There was no one around him so I thought it would be fine to give the free kick. It just kept my match control imo
I thought I had been lenient. We did KO late and nobody had mentioned anything to me, even though I had a chat with the guy warming them up. You would think he would have mentioned it
When I called the captains in one of their players came over and didn't mention anything about him not being the captain. I didn't check for an armband but I didn't have any reason to not think he was the captain
I'm not sure. The pitch was just 5 mins away from the scheduled pitch. But it is a bit hidden. The fact his other players found it 20 mins before ko suggested to me he was just an idiot
Reffing at 11 in the morning, turn up to the pitch but it's been double booked. The home manager decides we will play 5 mins down the road. No one seemed too annoyed.
I get to the pitch and speak to the home manager before game (the usual chat you have). Go over to the away team and speak to...
Reffing a game that kicks off at 2.15. I can't see light letting us play the full 90 seeing as there are no floodlights. What should I do. Just call time when I believe it's too dark?
Was reffing a primary school tournament. It was a year 2 game. a player toppled into their opponent the manage screams it me 'ref that was malicious, get him off'
